About the Course
With a strong emphasis on practical implementation, this course is designed for developers with foundational knowledge and experience with EventStoreDB. After completing the course, participants will be able to model and develop an application using EventStoreDB. They will also gain insights into unique patterns and features that differentiate Event Store’s persistent, event-native approach for data management from legacy, CRUD-based databases.

The course will be conducted in an online “instructor-led, self-paced” style. Once a week, the instructor will cover a selection of topics, provide demonstrations, and introduce the hands-on labs, which the students will complete independently. The following week we will repeat the process, adding a recap of the prior session, a walkthrough of the completed exercises, and a Q&A to ensure everyone is caught up before moving to the next topics.

Participant Expectations
Participants are expected to fully engage in the course, which includes active participation in the lecture/discussion, following the demonstrations, and completing the hands-on exercises. At the end of the course, students will be asked to provide feedback via a survey provided by Event Store, contributing to its continuous improvement.

Schedule
The instructor-led portion of the course will be delivered online over the following dates and times:
